On 6th October 2004, the Commission adopted its Recommendation on Turkey.
On 6th October 2004, the Commission adopted a Strategy paper on Bulgaria’s and Romania’s progress towards accession. This Strategy paper contains the pre-accession strategy for Croatia. The Commission also adopted its Recommendation on Turkey. As in previous years, the Commission has also released 3 Regular Reports on the progress towards accession of Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey for 2004. This enlargement package also contains a Paper on issues arising from Turkey's membership perspective.
